Meet Executive Director
Shana Wright
Shana Wright joined Elysian Charter School as Executive Director on July 1, 2026.
With more than 25 years of experience in education, Shana brings a strong track record of leadership, community building, and a deep commitment to student success. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to creating school environments where students thrive, educators feel supported, and families are valued partners in the educational experience.
As Executive Director, Shana will work closely with students, families, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees to build upon Elysian's strong foundation while helping shape the school's future.
We are excited to welcome Shana to the Elysian community and look forward to the years ahead under her leadership.

SUPPORT ELYSIAN
The Friends of Elysian Charter School is a parent-led, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds to support the school. Since 1997, Friends has helped bridge the funding gap—Elysian receives 35% less per student than Hoboken district schools. Through events such as the Annual Party & Auction and the Annual Appeal, as well as smaller social gatherings, Friends provides essential funding to ensure educational excellence for all students.
