||A Great Start!
—Harry Laub, Ph.D.
We are off and running! The opening of school has gone extremely well. As I walk through the classrooms and hallways I see students who are highly engaged in meaningful activities. We are looking forward to a year full of children actively engaged in learning and going on meaningful trips. These are some of the hallmarks of progressive education—students learning through experiences and analyzing and understanding how and why things work. In addition, as a progressive school, we pay a great deal of attention to individual learning styles and individual strengths and needs. All of this comes together to provide an atmosphere that develops a culture of support and caring.
