American Rescue Plan ESSER III

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act provides $122 billion in funding to states and school districts to facilitate the reopening and sustain the safe operation of schools.

At the July 27, 2021 Board of Trustees meeting an overview of the American Rescue  Plan  Emergency Relief Fund (ARP-ESSER III) was provided along with the recommended spending for the main grant and the four sub-grants.

Awarded amounts of $505,747 were discussed and specifically that the funds for this grant cycle need to be encumbered by June 30, 2023.  Remaining funds may be carried over into the next fiscal year for a complete period of availability through Sept. 30, 2024.
